Roof Verdict is an independent decision-support site for homeowners facing roof leaks, insurance claims, and repair decisions roof leaks, hail damage, storm repair quotes, roof lifespan, and insurance claim guidance. We build tools and guides that answer one question well: what does your roof actually need, and what will it roughly cost?
How our numbers work
Every tool on this site runs on standard roofing cost ranges and insurance claim guidelines, the same figures quoted by adjusters and contractors. Each tool is checked by hand against worked examples before it ships. Prices on this site are always shown as ranges with an "as of" date, because material and labor prices move with your region and season. We never publish a made-up statistic.
What we are not
We are not a roofing contractor, an insurance adjuster, or a claims service. Our numbers are planning estimates, not binding quotes. For structural evaluations, code compliance, or final claim decisions, confirm with a licensed local contractor or your insurance provider before you file or sign.
Corrections
If a number on this site looks wrong, we want to know. Email hello@roofing.pages.dev and we will check it against our sources and fix it quickly. Getting the math right is the whole point of this site.
